As the world enter the third millenium and undergo rapid metamorphosis especially in 'the world without borders and boundaries as if surfing in the blue nowhere' (Jeffery Deaver), another way of social mean is found that is communicating and showing pictures to everyone else as if we all just living under the same neighbourhood. Social networking becoming a basic to all dwellers of DotCom, making contact and response quick and cost-free. Chit chats were not longer need to gather outside in a kopitiam. Just get yourself a drink at your room then tapping texts and uploading pictures through media like computers and mobile phone. For us, discussions for group of peers or team projects become instant under the keys and we able to work while asking and commenting each other. Especially now this discussion project is make possible by the Blogger so we did not need to design, develop, upload and update our own website as the process is too mind and time consuming for FCM students. The accidental success of Facebook (not really) enable us to interact with the person we want we choose and discuss about our study and even create groups for gathering information, feedbacks and comments in one place so that everyone of the group is inform and getting know of what of other thoughts on a peculiar subject.
The development of social media is another setback in the society of men as we found a new convenience and a new hindrance. Dependent in social networking mean we depend on the internet network link and the eletricity that run the whole thing. One of them went crash and we are in the world of pain.

It was true if one of the social media crash, we will becoming every boring and outdated. Don't think that i was kidding, the society nowadays is about communication and information. News were spread around the world just within 5 minutes via social media.
ReplyDeleteThis is not the 19 century world that need to wait for next day newspaper or few months letter anymore. Now is the world that is fully using internet network.
Yes, I do agree that social media is now an important part of our life. Our dependency on internet had grown bigger and bigger. We will be in a world of darkness without electricity and feel lonely without the internet.
